RE:LIFE

Image
This has got to be one of my favorite slice of life anime's out of all the ones that I have watched throughout the years. The story centers around the protagonist Arata a 27 year old shut in who can't hold down a job. One day total stranger offers him the opportunity of a second chance through a miracle job that will change is physical appearance by 10 years, allowing him to go back to high school and have a second chance at developing himself as a person. There are a few rules within the program after taking the drug that he must follow which end up complicating the whole process. I don't want to give any spoiler but I really recommend it, with a 10/10.

Log Horizon

Log Horizon is an Anime that takes place in Japan where 30,000 players that play an online massively multiplayer game called "Elder Tale" are suddenly trapped within the game after its latest update. With no way of knowing how to return to the "real world" they use what they already know about the game to survive and prosper. However conflict arises as not everyone shares the same point of view as our protagonist and the game that they knew is starting to change. I've just finished the first season of this anime which is a relatively short 25 episodes. It starts off strong but starts to waver near the ending of the season but not so much where I got bored. The anime has a second season that I plan on watching soon but as for the first season I would rate it a 7.8 out of 10.
